About us: Overview

Rainworth State School is a friendly and encouraging school that strives to develop each child's unique talents. Our enthusiastic and dedicated teachers work closely with parents to help students achieve their personal goals.

Rainworth sets a high academic standard  We provide activities to extend students with special talents and to support those with special needs. Our comprehensive curriculum includes maths, english, science, SOSE (studies of society and environment), the arts (dance, drama, visual, music), computer studies and Italian language and culture.

Outdoor play is encouraged at Rainworth  The school's leafy grounds provide a stimulating setting for outdoor activities and the school's sports program. Facilities include a rainforest amphitheatre, an adventure playground, cricket practice nets, a large oval and three courts for tennis, basketball and netball courts.

Rainworth also provides a complete Outside School Hours Care program that includes vacation care. A tuckshop operates three times a week (mon, wed & fri), and uniforms and school supplies are available through the school's uniform shop.
