Costs

Parents will receive a statement each term for the costs of excursions, specialist classes (e.g. drama, swimming), art materials, technology, online learning resources and paper.

Enhanced Curriculum Families associated with our school for some time will be aware that the services offered to students here are somewhat enhanced over services offered in other schools. To assist in providing these enhancements we request a contribution from families. These contributions appear on a statement that is sent to all families each term.

To assist you in understanding our processes, this year we provide the following information.

Drama & Dance $16 per term

Drama is offered to all students in years Prep to 7. This service is delivered over two terms. Students engage in a program run by an experienced Drama teacher who works with the class teachers to develop the unit of work undertaken with the students. Class teachers are present during these sessions and work to support the drama teacher where required. This program provides students with opportunities to develop a range of dramatic skills and knowledge that builds on regular classroom experiences.

Dance is offered to all students in years Prep to 7. This service is delivered over two terms. Students engage in a program run by an experienced Dance teacher who works with class teachers to develop the unit of work undertaken with the students. Class teachers are present during these sessions and work to support the drama teacher where required.

Mathletics $10.00 approx per year is a computer program available over the net that allows students to practice maths facts in a fun way. We have found that our students maths skills improve with its regular use. It can be used at home and at school. All students and teachers have their IDs and passwords to access the system. Families will be invoiced.

Friday Sport Years 5-7 (Starts Feb 27). The sports and approximate costs are below:

Students will be charged according to the sport they are involved in.

Voluntary Contributions The following are voluntary contributions and assist in providing enhanced educational services across a range of areas. These areas are listed below and support a range of curriculum initiatives such as our focus on the Arts, the provision of LOTE from Prep to Year 7, levels of technology, replacement of home reading materials and additional copying associated with various activities. These will be noted on your term statement, however, payment is voluntary.

Please note that the enhancements offered by our school are supported through your contributions and should adequate resources not be available through contributions, levels of enhancement will need to be modified.
