School uniforms help set a good school tone and encourage a sense of being part of our school community.
Rainworth uniform The Rainworth uniform has been designed to be practical, economical, comfortable and sun safe. The school has a strict “no hat, no play” policy. Children not wearing a full-brimmed hat must be in an undercover area.
Parents are asked to help by having their children dress in the correct uniform at school and particularly on excursions.
New and used uniforms may be bought from the school uniform shop, which is open Wednesdays 8.30–9.15 am and Thursdays 2.45–3.10 pm.

The Rainworth school uniform consists of:
Prep This uniform is not compulsory. It consists of:
- Shoes that the child can manage by themselves
- Red T-shirt with or without Prep logo
- Boys: green shorts
- Girls: green skorts or green sports skirt
Years 1 to 7 - Girls
Formal uniform All girls are asked to wear the school dress, white socks and black shoes on formal occasions. This uniform is compulsory for girls in the Music Program.
Everyday uniform Choice of:
- Dress: Bottle green and white check (formal).
or
- Skirt: Bottle green netball skirt worn with bottle green sports pants, cottontails or bike pants
- T-shirt: Unisex white or bottle green
or
- Shorts: Bottle green unisex
- T-shirt: Unisex white or bottle green
- Footwear: Black shoes or sandals
- Socks: White ankle
- Hat: Bottle green or maroon 6cm brim or legionnaire
Sports uniform
- T-shirt with either skirt, unisex shorts or bike pants. White socks or maroon soccer socks. Joggers.
- Swimming: Swim caps and sun-safe shirts are compulsory (sun safe shirts are not available from the uniform shop)
Years 1 to 7 - Boys
Formal uniform All boys are asked to wear the white school T-shirt with grey shorts, grey socks and black shoes on formal occasions. This uniform is compulsory for all boys in the Music Program.
Everyday uniform
- Shorts: Grey gaberdine (or similar) or bottle green unisex
- T-shirt: Unisex white or bottle green
- Footwear: Black shoes or sandals
- Socks: Grey
- Hat: Bottle green or maroon 6cm brim or legionnaire
Sports uniform
- Shorts (grey gaberdine or bottle green unisex). Grey socks or maroon soccer socks. Joggers.
- Swimming: Swim caps and sun-safe shirts are compulsory (shirts are not available from the uniform shop)
Winter gear Winter gear can be ordered from the Uniform Shop at the end of term 1. The winter gear is the same for both girls and boys and consists of:
- Bottle green jacket with a maroon and a white stripe on right sleeve
- Bottle green long pants
- Bottle green rugby top
- Bottle green sweatshirt
